The project will not only help to raise the awareness of acquisition of digital basic ICT knowledge/skills, improvement of creative skills, but also it will improve personal self esteem. The expected impact will be on:

Learners & Staff

• Improved ability to use Internet.
• Increased knowledge of cultural diversity and differences through exchange visits and exchange materials.
• Improved communication skills and exposure to other languages.
• Learners will see their digital competences/skills enhanced and they will be involved in the learning process in an active way. It will reduce the “technological step” between cities and rural regions. It is important to make rural people feel the importance of a European Community.
• New principles of didactics will increase staff competencies in teaching and will make work more attractive and effective.

The Organization

• It will have expanded understanding and experience of providing basic digital skills training.
• Staff and Learners will be culturally aware and they will be able to increase the knowledge of other European cultures and languages.

Local Community

• Increased IT knowledge and cultural awareness by adult learners will have a strong impact on the local community.
• Local communities will be stimulated to look for their own identity and promote themselves to others.
• Adult basic skills are a growing requirement for more active citizenship and independent living for older people.
• Promotion of social inclusion.
• The organisations involved in the project will work initially with manageable core groups, but will also have access to other people across the partnership.
