By means of transnational partnership collaboration, the overall aim of the project is the creation of a collaborative e-learning environment where all the learners can acquire and improve their digital skills.

Other aims are:

 Motivate the learning process by new didactics, promoting older learners to take an active role in the learning process.
Use electronic distance learning in order to service people in dispersed areas and serve people with home based learning.
Establish a permanent transnational European network of digital learning facilities in which cultural, historical, economical and geographical information can be exchanged by older learners to promote their knowledge of foreign societies and cultures, increasing intercultural knowledge and European awareness.
Promote mutual respect and improve self esteem in adult learners.
Establish a peer to peer (virtual Buddy) environment.
Add the advantages of virtual face to face contacts to digital communication.
Evaluate the impact of the project on:
      1) learners involvement in the development of the E-learning delivery;
      2) staff, who will experiment new pedagogical approaches.
Disseminate the project through a variety of meetings, conferences, and publicity through newspapers, newsletters, partners’ web-sites at local, regional, national and European level. The project will develop on and maximise the use of multimedia on line for communication. This will include establishment of a platform, an E-forum, an E-Diary, a CD-Rom and provision of information in multimedia forms.
